A couple months ago we asked our customers to fill out a survey with their opinions on what factors make a great loyalty program. We were amazed at how many responses we received, with valuable feedback that we put to good use in designing our own Loyalty Reward Program. We’re extremely excited to announce that it is now live, and I’d love to share the details with you in this blog post.
We at VRPlayin are personally huge fans of Ritual. Have you tried it? When you’re as busy as us, being able to order food straight from your phone and skip lineups and the payment process is a huge bonus for us. Not only that, but they have a fantastic point system that allows you to save money off meals. As we enjoyed our Booster Juice ordered through the app and scrolled through our survey results, it came to us. Earn points. Save money. It can be as simple as that.
And so there is our little origin story of how we came up with the basics of our loyalty program in order to best serve you going forward – our amazing customers. We all love VR so much, it only made sense to us to figure out a way to get rewarded for playing.
Here’s how it works: Earn 10 points for every dollar you spend on VR time, before tax. Use points to redeem toward future bookings to save money off your next session. You can choose to save up your points for a large group booking, or redeem them anytime to save dollars off your bookings – it’s totally up to you.
With the maximum amount of points you can earn in a single booking being 10,000, you’re able to save up to $100 off VR bookings. My advice? If you end up racking up that many points, redeem them toward a couple stations and bring your friends for some multiplayer fun, but don’t tell them you cashed them in for free sessions. You’ll be getting drinks bought for you the entire night. You can thank me later.

What we are most excited about with this program is our choice to backlog points to any previous bookings you’ve made since we opened our doors in April of 2017. We wanted to figure out the best way to say thanks for being loyal customers, and we hope this does the trick. If you’ve played with us in the past, as long as the email you used is still active, you will receive points based on any bookings you previously made at VRPlayin.
And don’t worry about any kind of expiration date. As long as we’re all still alive and running, we want you to be able to come in and enjoy the wonders of Virtual Reality. As discussed in previous blog posts, the future holds a ton of potential for the technology of VR and we can’t wait to see where it takes us.
